After a month of clouds, the skies parted shortly. For the first time I got
to image with the f/3.3 and the b/w quickcam. Though there was a recent
supernova near M74 that I would have liked to image, it had already set
too low for me to image. So I settled for the easy M42. This is also the first
time that I used the C8 with the freshly cleaned corrector plate. I neglected
to collimate because I didn't want to waste precious clear sky.
