Finally managed a clear night with the Moon up.

The moon (composite)

This is a composite of about 30 frames. This is a great example of how tight the field of view is with the Quickcam at prime-focus. Click for the full-size version.

The Moon

The first picture is an image of the moon taken with the quickcam through the 48mm eye-piece. This is what a human would see looking through the telescope. Compare that to the second picture which is what the quickcam sees at the same resolution through the prime-focus!
