I've come to the conclusion that I'm over-powering my telescope with my quickcam configuration. Either that, or focusing is so tight at this magnification that my bumbling fingers can't focus well enough. But no matter what the problem is, I cannot get sharp images of Jupiter at this magification with the Quickcam. I'm going to give the grayscale another shot, as the color quickcam, though it has higher resolution, actually has poorer quality than its older brother!
